| Comments: | This is a refreshing jewel in the Maynard/Acton/Boxborough/Stow/North Sudbury area. Monsoon serves up cooked-to-perfection and elegantly-served Indian cuisine that is very delicious. From the simple to the extravagant each dish is expertly prepared. The lentil soup is not a simple lentil/water soup but is a sophisticated blend of toor dal, tomatoes, onions, garlic and spices. Monsoon offers a wide variety of Indian and Southern Indian cuisines on their six page menu. I am very pleased to make this a regular addition to my list of dining out restaurants. Be sure to ask your waiter for "Indian" level of spiciness - the normal spicy level is set too low (almost none) in accordance to the New England palate. |
